As a Presentation Expert, you will be part of the General Merchandise and Food Sales team, ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. You will lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store.
Your typical day will include:
- Creating a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Observing to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- Engaging with guests in a genuine way, which includes asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- Being knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
- Delivering accurate and timely merchandise transitions for all areas of the store
- Ensuring all signing, including promotional and planogrammed ISM, is set accurately when the transition is completed
- Maintaining presentation standards and ensuring areas are guest ready
- Understanding how operational procedures impact shortage, profitability, in-store replenishment, and inventory accuracy
- Appropriately using and caring for in-store and personal protective equipment
- Conducting weekly price change workload for all GM categories
- Completing scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy
- Accurately executing all pulls and backstock product from GM efficiently and timely
- Operating power equipment only if certified
- Maintaining backroom and fixture room organisation, location accuracy, and following equipment guidelines
- Executing processes accurately with attention to detail, monitoring own progress, and prioritising tasks
- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Working in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others
- Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up
