Working as a Style Consultant at Target means being part of a team that helps guests discover the joy of everyday life through strong operations, incredible guest experience, and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
The role involves providing an exceptional guest experience, driving sales, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment. As a Style Consultant, you will:
- Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings
- Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and solve guest needs
- Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom
- Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales
- Maintain product availability and a full floorpad by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity
- Execute and maintain backroom organisation, including locating merchandise to support replenishment and guest requests
- Remerchandise presentations as they sell through using best practices
- Support price change processes and maintain a compliance culture
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting them with their needs
- Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies and training
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories

- Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
In terms of physical demands, you should be able to:
- Accurately handle cash register operations
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
- Lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
