As a Beauty Sales Consultant, you will be the primary beauty advisor to customers in a CVS Health store. Your goal is to provide exceptional customer service, share the latest beauty trends and techniques, and build a personalized, robust basket for each customer.
Customer Sales Experience
- Provide personalized sales service to customers based on their needs and preferences.
- Engage in conversations with customers, listen to their concerns, and offer specialized sales advice.
- Use verbal skills to generate sales and stimulate different thought processes.
- Be a brand expert by answering customer questions in detail with product knowledge.
Operational
- Educate customers on how various products can address their needs, and leverage the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships.
- Participate in and represent company sales programs or events that positively impact business.
- Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and other beauty-specific promotional materials.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked beauty zone, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
Training & Personal Growth and Development
- Complete initial 30/60/90-day onboarding training with ongoing training/educational programs.
- Execute the established sales plan by meeting sales budgets and tracking progress.
- Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls.
- Compete with yourself to beat prior sales goals and maximize sales budget.

Physical Requirements
- Physical abilities to support essential functions, such as standing and moving throughout the store.
- Ability to stoop, kneel or crouch, and reach or grasp objects.
- Able to perform duties requiring manual dexterity.
Required Qualifications
- Sales-oriented with the ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Goal-driven with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- In specific CVS stores, bilingual beauty advisors that can speak to customers in both English and Spanish are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior beauty sales experience.
- Current knowledge of beauty products and brands.
- Strong passion for beauty.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
