Description
We are seeking a Bank Chef to join our catering team at Priory Life Works House, a residential addiction treatment service in Old Woking.
As a Bank Chef, you will prepare and serve varied, nutritious meals for the people staying at Life Works House. You will cater for individual dietary needs and preferences, maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness, and help manage stock and minimise waste.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving meals
- Catering for individual dietary needs and preferences
- Maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen cleanliness
- Helping manage stock and minimise waste
- Taking responsibility for running the kitchen during your shift and directing catering colleagues when covering the Head Chef
Requirements:
- Experience working in a professional kitchen and preparing meals for groups
- A food hygiene qualification and NVQ Level 2 in catering, or an equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge of food safety and allergens
- The ability to work independently, organise a busy shift and communicate well with colleagues
- A thoughtful approach to individual dietary and nutritional needs
