We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead our commercial management and quantity surveying teams.
Job Summary: As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will develop and implement strategic plans for commercial management and quantity surveying. You will oversee project budgets, financial forecasts, and contracts, and provide expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for commercial management and quantity surveying
- Oversee preparation and management of project budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure accurate cost control and financial reporting for all projects
- Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks across projects
- Lead the quantity surveying team in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents
- Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of construction work
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Mentor and develop commercial management and quantity surveying teams
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Real Estate with 10 years of experience in managing medium to large projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
