Description
LSEG is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Group Procurement team, focusing on Technology Services procurement. The successful candidate will provide specialist procurement expertise and insights to deliver year-on-year value-add to the Group.
Responsibilities:
- Own a L3 category of spend and hold accountability for category spend and sourcing activity, supplier relationship management, and business partnering for a defined sub-category of spend
- Develop and own a dynamic Category Strategy
- Work with Category Leads to support people development for senior buyers within the same category
- Act as business partner to stakeholders, working closely on requirements gathering and negotiations
- Ensure application of appropriate governance, risk management, and controls in line with internal and external policies
- Support the execution of the wider procurement strategy and transformation roadmap
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in procurement/category management essential
- Experience in Technology Services procurement desirable but not essential
- Educated to degree level
- Procurement/supply operation qualification (e.g., MCIPS or IAACM) desirable
- Experience in similar industry
- Experience of senior stakeholder engagement (preferably at C-level)
