Description
We are seeking a Nursing Graduate to join our team at Primary Children's Hospital Lehi.
As a Nursing Graduate, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and participate in patient care delivery.
The Nursing Graduate position is utilised for up to 12 weeks while employees are in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program, working towards obtaining an RN license.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate understanding of the nursing process and patient plan of care development
- Collect patient data, including vital signs, under RN supervision
- Observe and discuss patient care priorities with the RN
- Participate in patient/family education under RN supervision
- Report patient responses to treatments and collaborate with the RN on care modifications
- Achieve RN licensure in a timely manner and complete the Nursing Residency program
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a recognised Nursing (RN) education program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers
Preferred Qualifications:
- PCH experience and/or Float experience
- Paediatric experience
- Hospital experience (usually as a PCT)
