Senior BIM Technician – Mechanical

We are seeking a Senior BIM Technician – Mechanical to join our engineering consultancy design team in India. You will work on exciting new projects and liaise with the WSP South Africa Team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP 3D Revit coordinated models
• Model Mechanical systems
• Conduct clash detection and resolution
• Create Parametric Revit Families
• Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models
• Support design and bid teams with 3D visualizations and 4D models/visualizations
• Prepare quantities for use in BOQs from the 3D model

Key Competencies / Skills

• Essential experience with REVIT MEP, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), and Navisworks
• Desirable experience with Autodesk 3ds MAX, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Good English communication skills
• Working knowledge of Data Centers, Industrial, Clean Room, and Healthcare projects
• Ability to work closely with colleagues at a senior level, plan and manage workload, and think laterally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Mechanical engineering preferred, along with drafting qualifications
• 10+ years of production experience in design, drafting, and engineering with significant experience in a similar role
• Minimum 10 years of experience with Revit MEP
