Description
We are seeking a Manager - Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain & Manufacturing team. As a Regional Demand Planner, you will be responsible for the S&OP function within the region, collaborating closely with Supply & Commercial functions. Your role will involve using analytical, marketing, and sales data to estimate future product demands and drive the demand planning process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with regions by balancing supply and demand
- Working closely with the regional commercial team to provide accurate forecasts
- Creating a seamless flow of demand plans and delivering a high level of customer service
- Being an important stakeholder for commercial leaders to help deliver business growth while optimizing supply chain
Key performance indicators include:
- Forecast accuracy
- New product launches, tramlining, imports, etc.
- Out-of-stock control
- Cross-functional alignment for consensus building in S&OP meetings
- Reconciliation of forecast vs. actuals and measurement (FA, Bias)
- System adherence and change management
- End-to-end ownership of demand plan
- Mentoring junior planners or analysts
