Description
As a Global Molding Procurement Manager at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people around the world and make an impact by providing leadership to the Molding Category team in the USAC region.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing Category Ownership across 3M Businesses & Divisions, serving as a Strategic Procurement leader for Outsourced Molding
- Driving Procurement policies and best practices to meet cost savings, growth, and working capital goals
- Leading negotiations, NPI launches, and managing complex supplier relationships
- Minimizing total product and process cost through cost reduction efforts and innovative Procurement best practices
- Leading supplier selection and owning external supplier relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 10 years of combined experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, and/or Manufacturing
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Procurement, especially with Molding suppliers
- Experience managing procurement team
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
- Initiative, self-starter with a positive & pro-active approach
- Project management experience
- Experience successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on complex projects

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. Travel may include up to 10% domestic/international.
