Description
As a Global Supply Planner at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world and make an impact by ensuring supply continuity to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Global Planning of Semi-Finished and Finished Goods through multiple value streams
- Proactively identifies gaps and implements solutions to ensure Supply continuity to customers
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Global Supply Chain Operations and EMSD business to optimize service, inventory, and costs
- Leads process improvement projects in support of EMSD Planning objectives
- Accountable for driving results for 3M and customers as measured by Key Process Indicators (Inventory, Service, and Cost)
- Plans and coordinates the supply of product through multiple subcontractors and 3M Plants
- Supports New Product Introductions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Five years of Supply Chain Planning experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Operations Management
- Master's degree in Business / Supply Chain
- Seven years of Supply Chain Planning experience
- Proficiency with 3M Planning Systems and Microsoft 365 Applications
- Continuous Improvement Project leadership experience
- Experience within multiple supply chain roles
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
- Experience working on cross-functional and international teams
