Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management - Integrated Global Workforce Planning to join our team at Capital One. This role will serve as the primary strategic orchestrator across Capital One's Technology Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) ecosystem.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to teams, peers, and direct reports
- Designing, developing, and adapting project plans in a fast-paced environment, revising requirements as needed to meet shifting goals
- Ensuring comprehensive project documentation and governance to proactively manage risks and guarantee on-time delivery
- Leveraging strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure project execution aligns with business intent
- Serving as a strategic and tactical thought partner to project customers and cross-functional teams to drive seamless delivery
- Building strong relationships and leveraging outstanding communication skills to inform, align, and influence stakeholders at all levels across the company
- Quickly implementing clear frameworks and organization to effectively manage work within complex workstreams
- Leading with a coaching mindset to mentor, develop, and grow a team of associates
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 8 years of Project Management experience
- At least 2 years of people management experience
Preferred qualifications include:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
- 9+ years of Project Management experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
In terms of compensation, the minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are:
- McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr Manager, Project Management
- Richmond, VA: $161,500 - $184,300 for Sr Manager, Project Management
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
