Description

We are seeking an AI Lawyer to join our team as a Due Diligence Lead in M&A/Private Capital. You will be responsible for driving the firm's due diligence strategy and delivery transformation, embedding consistent, measurable, and effective use of artificial intelligence (AI).

As a member of the AI Lawyer team, you will work closely with the Private M&A Working Group to embed best-practice due diligence across the M&A and Private Capital groups. You will act as an entrepreneurial ambassador for due diligence and AI within the M&A/Private Capital practice, identifying new workstreams, client propositions, and engagements.

Key priorities will include:

  • Leading the London due diligence workstream, focusing on driving best practice and measurable adoption of emerging AI capabilities
  • Developing end-to-end frameworks and process maps for due diligence, along with user-friendly collateral and demonstrations
  • Supporting training for the M&A/Private Capital practice on best practice due diligence, including use of AI-supported solutions
  • Collaborating with the pricing team to understand the impact of AI on due diligence

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least four years' post-qualification experience in M&A/Private Capital, ideally gained at a leading international firm
  • Substantial high-quality private M&A and private equity due diligence experience
  • Admitted as a lawyer with an active practising certificate
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of identifying opportunities and taking ideas from concept to delivery
  • Confident, credible client-facing presence, with experience of pitching, presenting, and building client relationships
  • Lateral thinking, able to identify opportunities for improvement through tech or process interventions
  • Collaborative self-starter, able to build strong rapport easily; strong consulting, negotiating, and influencing skills

We offer a global work experience, involvement in strategic projects, and a commitment to corporate social, environment, and governance responsibility. We prioritize talent, diversity, and inclusion, and provide agile working solutions, custom-fit career paths, and support for health and wellbeing.
