Description
Join 3M as an Environmental Coordinator, supporting compliance programs for air, water, waste, stormwater, and chemical management.
Responsibilities:
- Support compliance programs for various environmental aspects
- Monitor environmental permits, records, inspections, and reporting requirements
- Conduct routine environmental inspections and support audits or regulatory visits
- Collaborate with plant teams to identify and resolve environmental risks
- Support waste reduction, pollution prevention, and sustainability projects
- Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions
- Provide environmental guidance and training to employees and contractors
- Lead the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as the Environmental / ISO 14001 Coordinator
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental management or ISO 14001 implementation
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment and follow safety procedures
