Description
We are looking for a Business Consultant – Financial Modelling to join our team.
As a Business Consultant, you will be client-facing, providing support on a wide range of LSEG Excel Add-in products. You will investigate and learn different segments of the financial industry depending on the clients' role and workflow. Our customers rely on your expertise to take their business decisions every day.
You will work with highly qualified colleagues, Account Managers, and Sales specialists in different locations, and have exposure to customers such as Research Analysts, Fund Managers, and Investment Advisors in large financial institutions around the world. You will also be responsible for training associates in the team on financial modelling.
Some of your daily tasks will include:
- Preparing custom, tailor-made analyses in Microsoft Excel/LSEG applications based on client's requests
- Cooperating with sales teams in displacements of competitors and helping with client retention
- Planning, preparing, and performing migration projects for large financial institutions
- Working on data presentations, analyses presentations, and functionality inquiries
- Providing creative solutions and high-level service through telephone and email
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Modelling
- Numeracy skills and an analytic mind
- Advanced experience in using LSEG Workspace Excel Add-in (including Datastream for Office)
- Advanced knowledge of the financial market
- Attention to detail and ability to work with data
- Proven experience working with customers and internal stakeholders
- Great communication and networking skills
