Description
MongoDB is seeking a Financial Analyst, AI & Emerging Products to join our Product & Technology (P&T) FP&A team. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and partnering with the business to drive decision-making and resource planning.
Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Establish positive relationships with P&T stakeholders, understand business drivers, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Forecast Coordination & Modeling: Build and maintain financial and operating models to support stakeholders in budget planning and optimization.
- Analyzing: Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to guide leaders toward efficient operating strategies and resource allocation.
- Operational Effectiveness: Improve and scale business, operational, and financial processes, standardizing and automating reports.
- Perform financial month-end close activities, including headcount reconciliations and budget vs. actuals analysis.
- Partner with recruiting and HR partners to drive efficiencies in workforce planning and reporting.
- Prepare schedules and relevant analysis for each planning cycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, or economics.
- 0-3 years of experience in FP&A or analytical roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Google Suite, and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial planning tools like Pigment is a plus.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills.
- Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Prior business partnering experience within a tech company is preferred.
