Description
As a Corporate Auditor at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative and diverse people around the world.
You will gain broad knowledge of 3M's processes, functions, and businesses through audits of subsidiaries, service centers, plants, acquisitions, and critical business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Examine, evaluate, and report on the accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of administrative efficiencies.
- Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with various stakeholders and teams to identify gaps in controls or opportunities for operational improvements.
- Analyze data and select samples for testing processes to identify control gaps and areas of potential operational improvement.
- Document and summarize audit findings and develop recommendations for process improvement.
- Communicate audit findings both orally and in written form.
- Follow up on the resolution of audit findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university/college in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of five years of experience working in accounting or finance.
- Experience working in internal or external audit.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with business level fluency in English.
Additional qualifications that may help you succeed in this role include:
- Solid analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Experience using PowerBI.
- CIA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent local certification.
- Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.
