Description
We build the embodied intelligence that moves real vehicles safely, and the ecosystem a billion machines will run on in the future.
You’ll join the Fleet Management team, which builds the platform that connects Wayve’s engineers and operators with a global fleet of autonomous vehicles and data-collection devices. The platform provides teams with the visibility and control they need to operate confidently as the fleet grows.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Owning full-stack features, working with senior engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to turn agreed designs into production-quality software.
- Contributing to technical discussions and breaking work into practical implementation steps.
- Following your work through testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Writing clean, performant code, debugging issues, and reviewing peers’ changes.
- Sharing what you learn and taking on more complex problems as your experience grows.
- Keeping usability and reliability central to the tools you build for real vehicle operations.
You will be working on:
- Frontend and backend features that help teams understand fleet health, configuration, software status, and location.
- APIs, databases, and cloud services behind Fleet Management workflows.
- Tools that support engineers and operators across different OEMs and vehicle configurations.
- Scalable, maintainable services developed in partnership with senior engineers.
- Automated tests, debugging, and code reviews that improve the quality and consistency of the platform.
You should apply if:
- You have professional experience building full-stack web applications or services, with genuine hands-on exposure to both frontend and backend development.
- You have worked with APIs, schemas, databases, and backend services.
- You can deliver clean, tested, and maintainable code, and contribute thoughtfully to technical design discussions.
- You are familiar with cloud services, distributed systems, or microservice architectures.
- You take ownership of assigned work, communicate proactively, and enjoy learning from experienced teammates.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, MUI, Rust, Go, Node.js, Kubernetes, Bazel, or Azure would be useful, but not required.
- Bonus if you have experience with fleet management, robotics, autonomy, operational tooling, monitoring, or high-volume data workflows.
Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving. We are pioneering an end-to-end AI approach that enables vehicles to learn directly from real-world experience, developing the ability to adapt, generalise, and improve at scale.
