As an Android Software Engineer, you will develop new features and maintain our existing Android codebase, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure we’re building the right things, the right way, contribute to mobile CI/CD pipelines for efficient Google Play delivery, write test automation to ensure high-quality, reliable releases, and champion performance, accessibility, and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Developing new features and maintaining our existing Android codebase
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure we’re building the right things, the right way
- Contributing to mobile CI/CD pipelines for efficient Google Play delivery
- Writing test automation to ensure high-quality, reliable releases
- Championing performance, accessibility, and user experience
Requirements:
- Proven native Android development experience using modern Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns, separation of concerns, and scalable app design
- Proficiency in unit and UI testing with standard Android frameworks
- Practical knowledge of dependency injection and Kotlin Coroutines
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, networking libraries, and data serialization
- Ability to use telemetry, analytics, performance monitoring, and A/B testing to validate ideas and measure impact
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, including Fastlane and GitHub Actions
- Commitment to clean code and continuous learning
- Familiarity with AI tooling to support software development and problem-solving
