Description
Diageo is seeking a Regional Content Operations Lead to manage content demand and delivery for assigned categories across markets.
The Regional Content Operations Lead will be the day-to-day link between market and brand teams and the agency delivery team, reviewing briefs, challenging low-value requests, maximising reuse, choosing the right delivery route and ensuring assets are delivered on time and ready for approval, storage and reuse.
Key accountabilities:
- Manage content demand and delivery for assigned categories, with a primary focus on adapting GBT assets for market use.
- Review and clarify briefs from markets and brand teams, challenging unclear, duplicated or low-value asks and improving briefing quality over time.
- Check for reuse before production and decide the most efficient route: reuse, GBT asset adaptation, Pencil/AI production, agency production or new-to-world only where truly needed.
- Translate market needs into clear agency briefs, including assets, formats, mandatories, timelines, approval needs, delivery route and creative direction.
- Guide the agency on workflows, templates, production approach and adaptation requirements, reviewing outputs where needed to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Track status, risks and missing inputs through the Planning & Briefing Platform, escalating issues and ensuring final assets are ready for approval, storage, tagging and reuse.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 6+ years of experience in content delivery, creative operations, marketing operations, agency account management, brand management, production or regional marketing.
- Strong in-house or creative agency background, with the ability to understand briefs, judge outputs, provide clear feedback and bridge brand teams and agency partners.
- Strong understanding of content briefing, reuse, adaptation, production workflows, approval requirements and market delivery needs.
- Good working knowledge of AI-enabled production, Pencil or similar tools, DAM/Libraries and content planning platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple briefs, deadlines, stakeholders and agency workflows at the same time.
- Detail-oriented and confident challenging weak briefs or unnecessary new creation, with focus on speed, reuse, cost efficiency, quality and market service.
