HAL - Photographer - CTI

We are seeking a skilled photographer to capture memorable moments of our guests on board our ships and at various locations.

As a Photographer with Holland America Group, you will be responsible for shooting pictures of guests on various locations on and off the ship - at the gangway during embarkation when new passengers board the ship or on port days as guests leave and return to the ship, on the pool deck of the ship, on formal nights shooting portraits and photos with the Captain during the Captain's welcome party, or taking pictures around the dining room tables.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve budgeted sales, image count, and sell-through targets each voyage.
• Provide a positive first impression to every guest through a warm, welcoming individual greeting and professional appearance.
• Produce well-exposed, focused, and printed images, meeting company standards at all times.
• Perform department inventories, receiving, transfers, deletions, price changes, stock rotations, and bar-coding prints as directed.
• Ensure that equipment is always used and maintained correctly and that any malfunctions or breakdowns are timely resolved.
• Complete all duties following the company Core Values and all aspects of the Service Essentials program.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Formal photography education and training preferred.
• Two years of event photography experience, including experience shooting portraits in large event settings.
• Prior sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience using professional-grade digital cameras.
• Experience with studio lighting and digital lab equipment preferred.
• Secure Windows and Mac-based computer skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar types of programs.
• Photo Equipment: Nikon D7200, Nikon Flash Systems, Hansel Studio Flash Systems, and related accessories, Konica R1& R2, Fuji Frontier, Noritsu.
