Description
Axios is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to help build and scale their CRM, reporting, and analytics capabilities as part of their Revenue Operations team.
The successful candidate will own and administer Axios' Salesforce Media Cloud instance, ensuring it supports the needs of their revenue organization and serves as a trusted source of data.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the day-to-day administrator for Salesforce Media Cloud, managing users, permissions, and configurations
- Partnering with Revenue Strategy & Enablement, Revenue Operations, and sales leadership to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Building and optimizing a Salesforce environment that supports Axios' evolving revenue organization and sales processes
- Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and recurring analyses to provide actionable visibility into business performance
- Supporting data migration and ongoing data management efforts to ensure data quality and integrity
- Identifying opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Troubleshooting user and system issues and recommending scalable solutions
- Creating and maintaining documentation, best practices, and training materials to support user adoption
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of Salesforce Administrator experience
- 1-2 years of experience in sales operations or sales analytics
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) or plans to obtain certification within the first year
- Experience building flows, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and custom objects
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permission sets, and data management best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
Nice to have:
- Experience with Salesforce Media Cloud
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications
- Experience supporting a Salesforce data migration
- Experience working in the media industry
In the first year, the successful candidate will help establish a scalable Salesforce foundation that supports Axios' revenue organization by delivering a stable and well-governed Salesforce environment, supporting data migration, improving automation, increasing Salesforce adoption, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve data and analytics usage.
The starting salary for this role is in the range of $65,000 - $75,000, dependent on factors such as location, work experience, and skills.
