We have an opportunity for a Road Safety Auditor / Road Safety professional, to join WSP's Liveable Places team and support a varied project pipeline across our London and the South-East regions.
The role is based in our London office (Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf), with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office, site, and home working.
As a Road Safety Auditor / PM with WSP, your role will include:
- Undertaking Road Safety Audits
- Working on Vision Zero / Road Safety projects – including analysis of collision data, designing road safety schemes, and helping deliver strategies & action plans based on the Safe System approach
- Project Management responsibilities – including management of project finances, programme and deliverables
- Preparing reports, sketches, schedules and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance
- Supporting a wide range of projects suited to your skills and experience
- Work collaboratively with the Liveable Places team and the wider WSP business to achieve our aims and objectives
The Liveable Places team is based in offices across the country with over 200 staff currently making up the team, with further growth planned. We enjoy our work and are exceptionally enthusiastic people who are great at what we do.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…
- You will be a qualified Road Safety Auditor, in accordance with DMRB GG 119
- You have experience in Road Safety, how to mitigate issues, and analyse collision data
- You will understand Vision Zero and the Safe System approach
- Experience in managing projects (including financial aspects of projects) and mentoring more junior colleagues
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and ensure our service levels are maintained
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with WSP colleagues and clients
