Description
As a Content Moderator at TaskUs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality and safe experiences for users and businesses across social media platforms.
You will apply a content policy to digital content and execute handling procedures consistently. Your responsibilities will include identifying subtle differences in digital communication and accurately enforcing the client's terms of use by monitoring reports of abuse on the site.
In your day-to-day work, you will review content such as videos, news stories, images, political ads, and social media profiles. You will score this content based on factors like age-appropriateness, level of violence, sexual content, and political transparency.
To perform this role effectively, you will receive training on how to enforce the client's policies and use these policies to support the overall business.
As a Content Moderator, you will also participate in employee assistance programs, program reporting initiatives, and training to promote well-being within the employee community.
Requirements:
- At least one year of prior operations experience in a shared services or customer experience environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in English and Persian, with the ability to read and speak both languages
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and empathy
- High affinity and cultural awareness of political and social situations regarding the relevant market and region
