IOM invites applications for a Senior Project Associate (LMI) to support the strategic, technical, and operational coordination of Labor Mobility and Social Inclusion projects in Ethiopia.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Senior Programme Officer - Migration Management and Governance, and the National Programme Officer (LMI).
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the implementation of diaspora engagement projects
- Monitoring project activities and making recommendations for adjustments
- Researching and analyzing national, regional, and international developments
- Providing technical and operational coordination support
- Conducting capacity-building workshops
- Preparing reports and correspondence
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field with five years of experience
- Proven experience in strategic policy and legal development in migration matters
- Experience in institutional capacity development and liaising with governmental authorities
- In-depth knowledge of migration-related subjects, including labor mobility and diaspora engagement
- Fluency in English and Amharic
