Description
We are seeking a Sales Order Specialist to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. As part of the global Order Management strategy, you will provide support for our LSEG/Refinitiv customers in Japan as well as to Japan domiciled global financial organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the order process for Refinitiv products, including entering orders into specialist permissioning or electronic fulfilment systems and working with internal and external customers to ensure the order is fulfilled according to agreed turnaround times and with accuracy
- Resolve internal and external customer queries and issues through investigation, analysis, proposal of recommended solutions, and agreement on appropriate course of action
- Communicate with customers in a professional and customer-focused manner
- Adopt business progress and change by obtaining new knowledge as an operation-oriented professional
- Meet and maintain defined standards for quality and efficiency, such as agreed volume, service, and quality targets
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all customer requirements are met, including supervising the group email account
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and colleagues in various locations globally
- Maintain online customer install positions and ensure appropriate customer access
- Craft and modify customer master data
- Ensure financial controls and policies are adhered to and in place
- Bring up any delays to internal groups, including senior members of the organization
- Utilize multi-tasking skills to prioritize and provide phenomenal service to customers
- Work in a hybrid working model (3 days office/2 days home)
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Graduate/post-graduate in a relevant field
- Prior administration experience is an advantage
- Strong customer service skills and customer-first focus
- Strong data interpretation skills
- Good understanding of computer systems, with knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, and Siebel being an advantage
- Experience or familiarity with CPQ tools is desirable
- Strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and profit for assigned tasks
- Good ability to prioritize and attention to detail
- High proficiency and skills for learning and championing effective partnership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
- Ability to work independently on multiple activities and show appropriate level of prioritization and critical issue skills
- Flexible working in a shift
- Experience with AI tools is preferred
