Apply on Snowflake

Description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work.

You will lead a team that designs, builds, and runs the systems behind Snowflake's Office of the CFO. You will bring a product-led mindset to finance technology, with a strong focus on AI and agentic applications that change how Finance works.

AS A SENIOR MANAGER, FINANCE APPLICATIONS AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Finance Applications across ERP (Workday Financials) and the connected finance stack.
  • Act as the product owner for finance systems: run discovery with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Procurement users; turn their pain points into requirements and user stories; and ship iteratively in short release cycles.
  • Build new finance capabilities from scratch where none exist today, from problem definition and architecture through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the design and rollout of AI and agentic products for finance use cases such as close automation, reconciliations, journal entries, AP, collections, revenue, and forecasting, using Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Agents, and Snowflake Intelligence.
  • Champion "Snowflake on Snowflake" as Customer Zero: build finance data products, Streamlit in Snowflake apps, and native integrations on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, and share what you learn with Snowflake's product teams.
  • Embed SOX compliance, ITGCs, segregation of duties, and audit readiness into product design and change management, so that AI-driven automation is trusted, explainable, and auditable.
  • Drive end-to-end process transformation across Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and FP&A, redesigning processes around automation and AI rather than replicating legacy workflows.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of product owners, business systems analysts, and engineers across global locations, building a product-led, AI-first culture.
  • Manage ERP vendors and implementation partners against product outcomes, timelines, and budget.
  • Define and report product KPIs such as cycle-time reduction, automation rate, adoption, accuracy, and control effectiveness, to show the business impact of the roadmap to finance and technology leadership.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR MANAGER, FINANCE APPLICATIONS WILL HAVE:

  • 10+ years of experience in finance systems, finance product management, or finance transformation, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • 5+ years in a product manager or product owner role for finance or accounting systems, with clear ownership of a product roadmap from vision through delivery.
  • A proven track record of building finance systems or capabilities from the ground up, not just maintaining or upgrading existing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major SaaS ERP (such as Workday Financials, Oracle Cloud/NetSuite, or SAP S/4HANA Cloud).
  • Domain knowledge of accounting and finance operations, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, revenue recognition, close, and FP&A.
  • Strong working knowledge of SOX, ITGCs, internal controls, and audit requirements for financial systems.
  • An AI-first product mindset, with practical experience applying GenAI, LLMs, or intelligent automation to real business processes.
  • Experience leading and building high performing teams, including teams across global locations.
  • A strong product toolkit: user research, prioritization frameworks, roadmapping, agile delivery, and outcome-based metrics.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to influence the CFO organization and technology executives.

BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  • Experience shipping agentic workflows or LLM-powered applications in production, especially in a regulated finance environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python, or Streamlit.
  • A background in accounting (CPA, CA, or similar) or prior experience in a finance or controllership role.
  • Experience with process mining, RPA, or workflow orchestration.
