Procurement Specialist

As Procurement Specialist, you'll manage site purchases of indirect goods and services that meet the operations quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Order Execution: Assist in processing & managing purchase orders for multiple sites, track and trace deliveries, and coordinate with internal stakeholders on order status.
• Inventory Support: Measure and monitor inventory levels to avoid stock out, coordinate with internal departments to anticipate future needs, and assist with inventory management as needed.
• Vendor Coordination: Effectively communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, ensure service guarantees, and resolve issues.
• Maintaining Records: Verify and document delivery receipts, order confirmations, and inventory levels, update and manage information in system, and audit and rectify billing issues.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, operations, or similar role is preferred.
• Understanding of procurement software is a plus (Netsuite, SAP, or other ERP systems).
• Skills: Attention to detail and strong commitment to operational excellence, strong ability to solve problems and action change, effective communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
