Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target means being part of a team that provides a consistent experience for guests. You will be responsible for creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience, delivering high-quality beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests
• Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and food
• Maintain a clean and organised store environment
• Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food & Beverage Standards
• Execute food and beverage processes, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, and food safety
• Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
• Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications
• Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks
• Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process according to best practices
• Ensure accurate in-stocks and follow proper perishable inventory procedures
• Execute sampling best practices and complete all required training requirements
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Work in a safe manner and report hazards
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

• Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
• Interpret instructions, reports, and information
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb up and down ladders if needed
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in environments with refrigeration and freezer temperatures
