Description
As an Associate on the Client Order Management team at BlackRock, you will oversee complex client order workflows from intake and validation through execution oversight and lifecycle management.
You will serve as a trusted operational partner to various teams, ensuring that client instructions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established controls.
This role provides broad exposure to investment operations, client servicing, and cross-functional business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex client order activities throughout the order lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely execution in accordance with client instructions, operational procedures, risk frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for client order management processes, workflows, controls, and procedures, providing guidance to colleagues and cross-functional partners.
- Lead the resolution of escalations, operational exceptions, and high-priority client requests, coordinating with various teams to achieve timely outcomes.
- Review and approve complex transactions while identifying potential operational, client, and control risks and escalating concerns through the appropriate governance channels.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of recurring issues and implement sustainable corrective actions that strengthen controls, improve data integrity, and reduce operational risk.
- Monitor operational performance through management reporting, service metrics, and risk indicators, while supporting audits, regulatory reviews, governance activities, and control testing.
- Drive process enhancements, workflow optimization, and automation initiatives that improve scalability, efficiency, and the client experience, while mentoring Analysts and sharing operational best practices.
