Description
We are looking for a Google Cloud Engineer, Associate to join our team in Pune, India.
As a Google Cloud Engineer, Associate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and unit testing software applications. You will work in an Agile development environment and ensure that high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and high-performing software applications are delivered to users.
Your key responsibilities:
- Design and discuss your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks
- Develop and unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software
- Perform peer code review
- Actively participate in sprint activities and ceremonies
- Apply continuous integration best practices
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve Sprint objectives
- Report progress/update Agile team management tools
- Manage individual task priorities and deliverables
- Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities
Your skills and experience:
- Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques
- Google Cloud-based development experience for at least 4 years
- Hands-on experience in Bigquery, Dataproc, Composer, Terraform, GKE, Cloud SQL, and Cloud functions
- Experience working with APIs and microservices
- Experience with development platforms such as OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker configuration and deployment with DevOps tools
- Experience in set-up, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructure
- Experience with software design patterns and UML design
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment
- Familiar with Agile Team management tools
- Good communication skills
- Pro-active team player
- Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organized teams
