Description
At Podium, you will lead the team responsible for helping strategic automotive customers deploy AI, change how their teams work, and deliver measurable results across sales and service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team serving Podium’s enterprise automotive customers. Set clear priorities, coach executive communication and problem solving, and hold the team accountable for adoption, customer outcomes, retention, and growth.
- Advise dealer group executives, owners, and general managers on where AI can improve their operations. Translate business priorities into practical plans with clear milestones, owners, and measures of success.
- Lead discovery into sales and service workflows. Identify where processes, employee roles, handoffs, and human oversight need to change for AI to deliver value.
- Oversee AI deployments and adoption across multiple locations, partnering with onboarding and technical teams on readiness, rollout, training, and ongoing improvement.
- Build the business case for AI and demonstrate results through executive reviews. Use performance data to explain what is working, diagnose gaps, and recommend specific actions.
- Own retention and growth across the portfolio. Identify risks early, lead recovery plans, and partner with Sales on expansion opportunities grounded in proven customer value.
- Bring customer insights to Product and Engineering. Help prioritize recurring problems and opportunities, coordinate resolution of critical issues, and close the loop with customers.
- Build repeatable discovery methods, rollout playbooks, and reporting that allow the team to scale effective practices across automotive groups.
- Travel 15% to 20% of the time for customer engagements, onsite working sessions, and executive meetings.
Requirements
- Experience leading enterprise client engagements in management consulting, technology transformation, enterprise solutions, professional services, or customer success. Experience at a leading consulting firm is a plus.
- A track record of managing and developing high-performing teams, with clear accountability for customer or business results.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills. You can lead a working session, challenge assumptions constructively, and make a clear recommendation to senior decision makers.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment. You can build a business case, assess ROI, and connect product adoption to operational performance, retention, and growth.
- Practical understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, with experience applying AI to business workflows. You can translate between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience delivering complex programs across multiple stakeholders or locations, including the process changes and employee adoption required to sustain results.
- An interest in automotive and a willingness to learn dealership operations in depth. Experience working with dealerships or other distributed, multi-location businesses is a plus.
- Ownership and sound judgment in a fast-moving environment. You can move from strategic recommendations to detailed execution and help your team do the same.
