Description
Join Biffa Waste Services as an Operations Supervisor at their Truro Depot, leading daily street cleansing and waste services operations. You will report to the Operations Manager and manage teams, resources, and schedules to ensure operational excellence, safety, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily operations, crew deployment, and allocating vehicles, equipment, and materials
- Maintaining effective staffing, vehicle, and equipment schedules
- Managing team inductions, attendance, and performance
- Ensuring accurate reporting, timesheets, and schedules
- Promoting a strong safety culture and enforcing procedures
- Building positive relationships with Local Authorities and partners
- Identifying opportunities for service improvement
Requirements:
- Full, valid UK driving licence
- Proven experience supervising teams in operations, waste management, or a similar environment
