Description
We are seeking an Expert Hardware Engineer Control Electronics to join our team at AVL Software and Functions GmbH in Regensburg, Germany.
You will define and develop requirements and system architectures for new and existing hardware solutions. You will design advanced control electronics while balancing constraints such as space, EMI/EMC, cost, and manufacturability. Your responsibilities will also include specifying and defining detailed verification and validation strategies for new hardware designs, supporting testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities, and developing innovative hardware concepts in line with automotive development standards and processes.
You will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with relevant professional experience in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field. At least 4 years of proven experience in embedded hardware and control electronics development are required. Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC requirements and engineering methods to ensure compliance is essential. Experience with design tools such as Altium Designer or LTspice is an advantage.
