Redstone Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Denton, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting, maintaining, and enhancing the value of the community while maximising the living experience for residents and the community.
The role involves ensuring that all resident maintenance issues are resolved expertly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the community grounds and buildings to ensure exceptional curb appeal
- Assisting with basic repairs and general maintenance duties
- Demonstrating exemplary customer service and teamwork principles
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and sanitary environment in common areas
- Ensuring the property is free of trash, debris, and animal waste
- Maintaining the grass and landscaping, including watering flowers
- Preparing apartments for new resident move-ins
- Overseeing apartment turnovers
- Communicating with the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager about maintenance or curb appeal issues
- Responding to emergencies according to policies and procedures
- Participating in Redstone training as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ years of relevant industry experience; property management experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and basic maintenance skills
- Working knowledge of maintenance requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-10 hour standing shifts
