Description
The Undergraduate Sales Intern role in 3M's Transportation & Electronics Business Group (TEBG) is a summer internship starting in 2027.
As an intern, you will work on projects that address real customer, channel, territory, and business priorities. You will have access to training, coaching, networking, and exposure to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Work on meaningful projects that address real customer, channel, territory, and business priorities
- Develop foundational skills in sales, customer engagement, business analysis, project management, communication, and product knowledge
- Participate in customer engagement, account planning, territory activities, inside sales, field sales, channel activities, business development, and sales growth initiatives
- Contribute to sales projects, customer outreach, product demonstrations, campaign execution, performance tracking, stakeholder updates, and recommendations to business leaders
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Current, valid driver's license
- Additional qualifications that could help you succeed: currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field; completed a minimum of sophomore year; current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher; completion of two required classes in the major, minor, or concentration; strong communication, collaboration, organization, and presentation skills; strong time management, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong aptitude and desire for a career in sales

Work location: On-site working model with at least four days a week in the office at 3M Center, located in Maplewood, MN. Field Sales positions can be located across the country.
Travel: Field sales internships may include up to 75% domestic travel.
