Description
We are seeking an Assistant Cook to join our team at Brady School kitchen. As an Assistant Cook, you will be responsible for undertaking the preparation, simple cooking, and serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council's contractual arrangements. You will also support the kitchen supervisor in all aspects of the food service and assume responsibility for the food service in the supervisor's absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages
- Support the kitchen supervisor in all aspects of the food service
- Assume responsibility for the food service in the supervisor's absence
About You:
- Reports to: Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative
- No direct staffing responsibilities
- Works 22.5 hours per week, term time only, plus 4 cleaning days during school holidays

- Competitive salary: £30,408 - £32,187 per year
