Description
We are seeking an Assistant Cook to join our team at Hilldene Primary School, London Borough of Havering. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the preparation, simple cooking, and serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council's contractual arrangements. The role involves supporting the kitchen supervisor in all aspects of the food service and assuming responsibility for the food service in the supervisor's absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages
- Support the kitchen supervisor in all aspects of the food service
- Assume responsibility for the food service in the supervisor's absence
Working Hours:
- 25 hours per week, term time only
- Plus 4 cleaning days during the school holidays
Salary:
- GBP 30,408 - 32,187 per year (pro rata, approximately £21,116.67 per annum)
Requirements:
- No direct staffing responsibilities
- Reports to: Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative
