Amazon Operations is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team in the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering department. As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
The focus of this role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to conduct preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties, and work efficiently to resolve the issue.
- Support continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns and providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Ensure high levels of equipment availability for internal customers.
- Collaborate with and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
- Manage contractors.
This role involves working in a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends.
