Description
The Defense Sector, Decision Advantage Business Area at Leidos is seeking a system administrator to join its ALMSS team in support of a critical Air Force logistics system.
As a system administrator, you will provide customer and user support for the Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS).
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing daily technical and procedural assistance to over 85 on-site and 180 remote users at over 50 global locations
- Identifying and resolving ALMSS-related logistics support issues associated with over 300 Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions and 10 major system interfaces
- Offering information analysis support for the Program Management Office
- Delivering initial and follow-on training support for complex functions and new enhancements
- Staying updated on Air Force supply logistics policy changes that could impact ALMSS or lead to business opportunities
- Collaborating closely with government ALMSS program managers, engineers, and logistics branch leads
- Managing ALMSS customer expectations and ensuring early detection and resolution of problems
- Assisting with program support activities, including ALMSS user-related issues, system portfolio management, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance
- Providing clarity on logistics support issues to system operations and software development staff as needed
- Supporting the ALMSS modernization team with knowledge of Legacy ALMSS
- Traveling to the customer site in Warner Robins, Georgia, within 24 hours' notice
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 6 or more years of experience
- An active DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience with ALMSS, Enterprise Solution-Supply (ES-S), Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) wholesale system, Air Force Stock Control System (D035), Air Force Master Item Identification Control System (D043), and DLA Transaction Services SCM interface formats
This position offers a salary range of $82,550.00 - $149,225.00.
