As a Customer and Trading Manager at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Cobham, Surrey, you will play a crucial role in leading the store's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a small team of managers to ensure the store runs smoothly every day.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager in with accountability for the full shop.
- Collaborate with a team to complete all tasks, ensuring customers are served efficiently and safely.
- Manage performance and capability, conduct disciplinaries, and ensure scheduling and pay are accurate.
- Occasionally assist another store in the network.
Requirements:
- Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Proven track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues.
- Experience in leading a team in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to manage disciplinaries, performance issues, and other employee relations issues.
- Comfortable leading operations alone in the absence of more senior management.
