Description
We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle, part of Circle Health Group. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
The role is a bank position working on an 'as and when required' basis, providing cover for existing staff during busy periods or times of annual leave or absence. You will be required to be flexible and work in various departments, including Theatre areas, and at other CHG sites where appropriate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking day-to-day cleaning of patient, public, and employee areas
- Maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and CHG employees
- Replenishment of linen and consumables
- Flexibility to work in all departments and at other CHG sites where appropriate and as requested
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Competence in literacy and numeracy
- Good communication skills
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
- Proficiency in using a PC, including software and systems
- Prior experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
In return, Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.71 per hour.
