Description
We are seeking a Housekeeper to join the team at The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale, part of Circle Health Group. The successful candidate will work on a bank shift basis, providing flexible support to the Hotel Services department.
The Highfield Hospital has recently been awarded OUTSTANDING by the CQC. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public, and employee areas
- Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and Circle Health Group employees
- Replenish linen and consumables
- Provide flexibility to work in all departments, including Theatre areas, and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate
- Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
- Comply with all relevant mandatory training
Requirements:
- Competency in literacy and numeracy
- Good communication skills
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
- Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems

- Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 per hour
