Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Webex media team. As a member of this team, you will work on ensuring that every person using our products receives a truly immersive experience, regardless of their device or location.
Responsibilities:
- Bringing to life new software functionality based on product requirements.
- Performing peer code reviews and automating all development chores.
- Participating in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, release, and retrospective meetings.
- Broadening your technical and soft skills with the help of our comprehensive training programs.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of professional software development experience and a BSc (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Uses AI responsibly to accelerate development.
Nice to Have:
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of WebRTC/ SIP protocols.
- Experience with reviewing AI-generated code.
- Experience steering AI effectively via context and prompt design.
- Collaborative and eager to learn.
