Description
The Cisco Intersight team is at the forefront of Cisco’s AI Infrastructure strategy, serving as the intelligent management platform that orchestrates and simplifies complex hybrid cloud environments.
You will develop and validate infrastructure, software components, and integrations in on-prem and cloud environments. You should have a good sense of product design, passion for quality and customers, and willingness to work in small, self-organizing teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 7 years or Master's with 4 years or PhD with 1 year of related experience.
- Experience programming with Go, C/C++, Java and/or Python
- Experience with microservices software architecture and large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Experience working with cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud
- Good understanding of Linux, OS and networking fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Software and product development experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with virtualization environments such as vSphere, HyperV, KVM.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to effectively leverage them to improve engineering productivity, solution design, and problem-solving.
