Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Principal Services Business Strategy & Planning professional to define high-impact, long-term business strategies at the corporate, business, and regional levels.
The successful candidate will partner with senior management to identify existing operational and new business opportunities, including market development, investment prioritization, business modeling, and key growth strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining the Server Services strategic roadmap aligned with company goals
- Identifying market trends, competitive insights, and emerging technologies to inform strategy
- Driving annual and quarterly business planning processes, including financial forecasting and resource allocation
- Building, deploying, and maintaining Business Driver Based Models (DBM) of services businesses supporting the long-term planning process
- Defining and tracking KPIs to measure organizational success
- Collaborating with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment on priorities
- Analyzing industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
- Overseeing strategic projects from conception to execution
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in business strategy, planning, or related roles within technology or enterprise services
- Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering measurable results
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to influence and lead in a matrixed organization
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, AI tools, and strategic planning frameworks

The expected salary range for this position is $123,500 - $285,000 per year.
