Description
We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Brunswick Court Care Home in Watford. As a Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of our organisation, providing person-centred care that supports independence and honours choice.
Brunswick Court Care Home provides nursing, residential, and dementia care, as well as convalescence, palliative, and respite care. The home has a range of amenities, including comfortable lounges, en-suite bedrooms, and a large activities room.
The purpose of this role is to support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from companionship to personal care. You will observe and manage residents' behaviour, support their nutrition and hydration needs, and provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also essential. Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification is desirable.
