Description
As a Production Operator at 3M, you will collaborate with innovative people around the world to produce electrical insulating paper used in various markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with teammates to produce high-quality products
- Operating production equipment and adjusting material flows
- Driving forklifts and operating other material handling equipment (with training provided)
- Following safe work procedures and exemplifying 3M's safety culture
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution
- One year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could be beneficial include:
- Three years of manufacturing experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Package and MES knowledge
- Understanding of Lean Management Systems and lean tools
