Description
As a Forward Deployed Architect on Notion's Services team, you will help customers turn AI ambition into operational reality and unlock the full potential of our platform.
You will partner directly with customers to design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive adoption, usage, and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Notion's most complex, multi-workstream customer engagements in Korea end to end, from scoping and discovery through launch, adoption and handoff.
- Shape Services scope, effort estimates and implementation strategy with account teams during pre-sales, then deliver against the agreed scope, timeline and outcomes.
- Drive executive alignment on ambiguous, high-stakes decisions.
- Decide where Notion should own, complement or connect to existing systems, and design scalable architectures and AI-native workflows.
- Orchestrate Forward Deployed Engineers, partners and internal teams.
- Lead change management and adoption through stakeholder alignment, champion programs, phased rollouts and enablement.
- Coach other architects and partners, and scale the Korea Services practice.
- Turn field patterns into evidence-backed product signals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in tech services/consulting, solutions architecture, implementation, customer engineering, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous customer goals into clear workflows, implementation plans, solution architectures, and measurable success criteria.
- Strong consultative discovery skills.
- Hands-on AI builder mindset, with experience using AI tools.
- Proven track record of designing and deploying AI-powered workflows or agents in production for customers.
- Hands-on technical depth in data modeling and permission design, API and integration patterns, agent design and evaluation, enterprise security and governance, and data validation with SQL or scripts.
- Strong experience delivering implementations that drive adoption, change management and long-term customer value.
- Strong project and engagement management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Strong executive presence and customer judgment.
- Experience coaching consultants or architects.
- Bias toward action, high learning velocity, and comfort building in fast-changing AI-native product environments.
- Professional fluency in Korean and English.
