We are seeking an experienced Engineer, VP to join our Technology team in Pune, India. As a Lead Engineer for Technology, you will partner with business and technology managers to create designs, solutions, and strongly engineered applications. You will be an integral part of the bank's technology infrastructure, guiding feature teams through engineering practices and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for feature teams in Trade Finance
- Passionate about delivering state-of-the-art solutions and being a hands-on technologist
- Demonstrably solid software engineering skills
- Design and deliver highly functional, robust, and scalable code as part of a high-performing development team
- Lead a team of engineers and create high-performing teams

Requirements:
- 18+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on technologist with expertise in Java-based technologies, Spring, Microservices architecture, CI/CD pipeline
- Oracle SQL
- Ability to solve business problems with an acute engineering mindset
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrixed organizations
